Mathews MM

Product designer with two decades in design, the last nine focused on UX and product. I've worked across enterprise platforms, consumer apps, and agency projects, adapting to the pace and constraints of each. The constant is making complex things usable: clear flows, honest hierarchy, and interfaces that work for real people under real pressure.

My recent focus has been enterprise UX: complex internal tools, data-heavy workflows, and multi-module platforms. I'm equally at home in consumer product work. The fundamentals don't change. Understand the user, understand the constraints, make something that works.

A background in motion graphics and visual design isn't decorative. It shapes how I think about hierarchy, timing, and the small details that separate a clear interface from a forgettable one.

A decade and more in motion graphics and animation across New Zealand and India: broadcast TV, documentary, and brand work, including a National Geographic documentary and a 50-episode children's series. This is where the craft instinct for hierarchy, timing, and motion came from.
